Organisations and governments try too hard to polish the reputation of their various firms, companies and departments. In the public eye these executives are seen as the face of their organisations and they do in public exhibit this persona, but what they do or say behind the cameras needs to be heard to be believed. Newcastle managing director Derek Llambias was caught off camera and on tape slagging off individuals of relevance to the club namely Kevin Keegan, Alan Shearer, and former coach chris hughton. He spoke candidly though, but the repercussions for the clubs PR is yet to be seen but am sure will unfold eventually. Executives need to discipline themselves regarding their comments on or off air, because these comments could have a major influence in the reputation and PR of their organisations.
